For some strange reason I couldn't log in here for a few months... but I guess I can again! Yay!

Just have to share....

I have a new rescue ball python that started out eating great for me on f/t, after I got her to the vet and having splinters removed from her mouth from a previous owner's ignorance (he fed her live on coconut husk bedding, which she accidentally tried to swallow along with the mouse). This is why all my snakes are on paper towels...

Well, I had my thermostat break two weeks ago, wrecking havoc on my life and making it so that my snakes had no heat. I ended up fixing that situation pretty quick, fortunately, but them my rescue went off feed for two weeks. She is an 07 baby and very thin, but healthy otherwise.

So...I tried live feeding (which bothers me a little and I do not condone under most circumstances), but which was necessary. She ate! I was so happy!

So I am going to feed her live hopper mice until she gains enough weight for me to fight with her about eating f/t again....

Just thought I'd share my little triumph!

Well, I am new here at da. I have lurked quite a bit and saw all of the great artwork around here, but never joined, so I finally decided to join!

I had a longish stint where I didn't want to do anything artistic, which was pretty depressing, but I have come out of it and feel ready to be creative again

This is why most of my gallery is old stuff and my new stuff is silly and done on the computer mostly. I have had art ADD and don't especially like sitting around waiting for my hand to catch up with my mind. I figure it harms no one if I just do silly stuff for a while, and ease back into serious drawing and painting.

Hope you all enjoy my extremely eclectic taste in art and subject matter!
